A Brief History
I have been teaching for over 20 years. My first teaching job was in a music shop near Bromley where I split my time between teaching and selling digital pianos and keyboards. After a few years I took over the running of the music school which steadily grew and became successful - both financially and educationally. When the owner decided to sell the business, I took the opportunity to leave and build up a music school of my own based in Hextable, near Swanley, Kent. Since then I have taken further qualifications including the Certificate of Teaching with the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
I have been teaching in Hextable for over ten years now and have built up an excellent reputation locally. Most of my new students come from personal recommendation.
Playing various instruments has helped me gain a greater understanding of music as a whole and, although I only teach piano, students are regularly exposed to other instruments.
